Financial Aid
Dartmouth helps meet the financial needs of all its students with a financial aid program based on three principles. Need-Blind Admissions: Dartmouth selects its incoming classes without considering applicants' financial aid need. Need-Based Aid: Dartmouth awards financial aid on the basis of need, not competitive standards. Full-Need Assistance: Dartmouth meets 100 percent of each student's demonstrated financial need for all four years.
The Campaign for the Dartmouth Experience helped keep Dartmouth affordable for all qualified students by raising $122 million in undergraduate scholarship endowments to offset the more than 20 percent increase in students seeking financial aid from the Classes of 2004 to 2012.
